The DeepStacks Poker Tour will return to Central California and the Turlock Poker Room & Casino for its fourth annual visit, this time bigger and better than ever.
Starting April 26 and running through May 4, The DeepStacks team will be on hand for eight events, culminating in the Main Event May 2 to 4. The Main Event has a $1,000 buy-in, with Day 1A and 1B Friday and Saturday, May 2 and 3 at 1:00 p.m. Day 2 will be Sunday, May 4 at 1:00 p.m. Players will start with 20,000 chips and levels will be 50 minutes.
“Turlock Poker Room & Casino has continued to grow in all aspects of the cardroom industry, none more prevalent than the growth of the poker tournament community. Poker players from all over the region have spoken, and these tournament enthusiasts are looking for the calibre and variety of events hosted at Turlock Poker Room & Casino,” said Turlock Poker Room & Casino’s director of casino relations, Mario Alvarez.
In addition to the Main Event, the other tournaments in the series are mega satellites April 26 ($115) and April 27 ($240), bounty tournaments April 28 ($75) and April 29 ($125), Omaha High-Low April 30 ($55), mega satellite May 1 ($115), and a last chance turbo satellite May 3 ($110).
During the Main Event DeepStacks will pick a featured table and provide a 360 live stream Internet broadcast of the action right through the final table.
In addition to paying the cash buy-in, TPR has lots of other ways to make your way to the DeepStacks Main Event. Through April 25 winners in their daily morning tournaments as well as first and second place in their evening events will win a seat to that Sunday’s mega satellite (plus cash). You can also buy your way into those Sunday satellites for $115.
Single table satellites will also be held through April 25 for $110 with a Main Event seat going to the winners. Live games at Turlock Poker Room can also get you a seat. If your qualifying hands gets beaten at the cash tables you get to spin the wheel which has spots giving away mega satellite and Main Event seats.
If you are fortunate enough to win multiple Main Event seats you can use them on Day 1A and 1B or as a re-entry.
“Partnering up for a fourth consecutive year with one of the fastest growing and premier poker tours in world, DeepStacks Poker Tour, will give the opportunity for the poker tournament community to play in a series structured by two of the best brands in the business; Turlock Poker Room & Casino and DeepStacks Poker Tour,” said Alvarez. “I’m confident participants will enjoy the presence of top poker pros, live sideline reporting by Jeanine Deeb and a 360 live-streamed Main Event. DSPT-Central California is set to be an incredibly structured nine-day series.”
