Players will be coming from all over to participate in the Battle of the Bay tournament series at Lucky Chances Casino June 2 to 10. They will have buy-ins ranging from $120 to $1,080 and feature something for everyone with six-handed, partners, re-buy, and limit Omaha events.
For this, the 15-year anniversary at Lucky Chances, they have made a few changes for the Battle of Bay. The $100,000 guaranteed to first place main event will be a two-day tournament (June 9 to 10). They will play down to the money (usually 27 players) then return the following day at 4:00 p.m. to finish, giving players a chance to rest before shooting for the title.
They are also adding dinner breaks to their other events to give participants an opportunity to refuel before the final push to each tournament’s completion.
On May 12 they will hold the Lucky Chances Freeroll for qualified players at which they will give away 15 $5,000 main event packages ($3,200 seats + $1,800 cash). Once they are down to 15 players remaining the tournament will be over and all will receive the $5,000 package.
