The Bay 101 Casino in San Jose will host the annual Bay 101 Open from Aug. 12 to 19. With six events culminating in a three-day, $1,100 buy-in Main Event, this series promises to provide big fields and plenty of action.
Event #1 on Monday, Aug. 12 is no-limit Hold’em with a $350 buy-in. The next day (Event #2) is Omaha Hi/Lo for $355. Wednesday’s Event #3 is the no-limit Hold’em Monster Stack event ($560), followed by another $350 no-limit Hold’em tournament (Event #4). Event #5 on Friday is no-limit Hold’em “20/20” with a $550 buy-in.
One re-entry is allowed in Events #1 and #4, but none in the other three.
Day 1A of the $1,100 Main Event begins Saturday, Aug. 17 at 9 a.m. with Day 1B at the same time the next morning. Surviving players will return on Monday at 10 a.m. to play to a conclusion. One re-entry is also permitted for this tournament.
Prior to the series, Bay 101 Casino will hold Mega Satellites to the Main Event on Saturday, Aug. 10 and Sunday, Aug. 11 at 9 a.m. The buy-in is $250 for a chance to win a Main Event seat and cash. Each allow for one re-entry.
