Bay 101’s Fall Poker Classic is back

Bay 101 Casino in San Jose is holding its annual Fall Poker Classic tournament series Oct. 15 to 22 with six events on the bill.

First up on Monday, Oct. 15 is the $350 buy-in No-Limit Hold’em 20/20, which features 20,000 chips and 20-minute levels. The following day is Omaha Hi-Lo 8 or Better for a $355 buy-in.

On Wednesday it’s the $560 No-Limit Hold’em Monster Stack event with 30,000 in starting chips. Thursday is a $240 No-Limit Hold’em tournament with re-entry, followed by the No-Limit Hold’em Double Stack Turbo on Friday for $550.

The Main Event begins Saturday, Oct. 20 with Day 1A, followed by Day 1B on Sunday. Buy-in is $1,100, and players who bust out on Day 1A can re-enter on Day 1B (no same day re-entries). One in eight players will make the money and each Day 1 will play down to that point. Day 2 is Monday, Oct. 22.

The first five events all begin at 9:30 a.m. The Main Event’s Day 1s begin at 9 a.m. and Day 2 at 10 a.m.
