Capitol adds new tournament to schedule

Capital Casino has added a new tournament to their popular schedule, a $100 buy-in event on the first Saturday of each month. Capital already awards a free $220 2nd Saturday Deep Stack seat to the winners of their weekday tournaments, now the second place finisher will receive a seat into the new 1st Saturday event.

This should give quite a boost to the size of the field at this event, making for a very appealing prize pool for a modest $100 buy-in (as it does for the 2nd Saturday $220 event). The seats at both tournaments are added by the casino and do not come out of the prize pool.

Capital Casino boasts a wide variety of tournament buy-ins and structures. They have the new 1st Saturday $100 buy-in, 2nd Saturday $220 Deep Stack, and 3rd Saturday $150 knockout bounty event ($50 bounties). All three of these tournaments feature a re-entry option. The fourth and fifth Saturdays Capital has their Double Stack tournament with a $60 buy-in and one optional $50 add-on or re-buy at any time during the first four levels.

Sunday Tournaments remain the same with a $120 buy-in and one optional $60 add-on or re-buy. All Sunday tournaments have a guaranteed prize pool of $5,000. The weekday tournaments are as strong as ever, with prize pools steadily around $3,200 to $3,800 and seating 85 to 95 players on any given day. The buy-in is $30 for these tournaments with one optional $30 add-on or re-buy per player through the first four levels.

Omaha has proven to be a big crowd pleaser at Capitol Casino. Spreading as many as two or three $4/8 full-kill games daily as well as an $8/16 half-kill game on Mondays and a $6/12 full-kill game on Wednesdays. If you are into action, this could be the game for you.

Texas Hold’em is going strong as well. Multiple $4/8 and an $8/16 limit games run on a daily basis and $1/3 and $2/5 no-limit are popular games enjoyed by many who prefer playing for some serious pots.

Your Capitol Casino Player’s Rewards Card earns you a straight dollar an hour in cash poker games with their no-hassle cash-out at any time. Also, with a qualifying full house you receive raffle tickets for the next Summer Sizzle promo drawing to be held on Oct. 25. The more full houses you get, the more raffle tickets you receive, thereby improving the chance of your name being drawn.

If Blackjack, EZ Baccarat, or Pai-Gow poker are games you prefer, the Dragon Room at Capital Casino is a popular destination.
