Fall Classic coming to Stones

From Sept. 29 to Oct. 8 Stones Gambling Hall in Citrus Heights will be holding their $250,000 Fall Classic series of tournaments, culminating with a $150,000 Main Event. Special guest commentators for their Stones Live Twitch TV stream will include Jonathan Little, Annette Obrestad, David Tuchman, and Justin Hammer.

They kick things off on Friday, Sept. 29 at 10:00 a.m. with the Classic Warm Up, a no-limit Hold’em event with a $120 buy-in, 25 minute levels, and 15,000 chips. This is followed that evening by Omaha 8 with a $120 buy-in, 20 minute levels, 10,000 chips, and a $5,000 guarantee.

Saturday morning they begin an exciting new event: the Chip Amplifier. This no-limit Hold’em tournament’s buy-in varies from $120 to $550 and starting chip stacks go from 10,000 to 60,000. The later you buy in, the more it costs and the more chips you get. Levels will be 30 minutes and the guarantee is $45,000.

Sunday, Oct. 1 they’ll have the Assassin’s Bounty with a $300 buy-in, 30 minute levels, 10,000 chips and a $35,000 guarantee (including bounties). The unique feature in this event is that you can trade in your collected bounties to have additional tournament chips added to your stack.

The fifth event is their Classic 6 Max, a no-limit Hold’em tournament with a $200 buy-in, 30 minute levels, 15,000 chips, and a $15,000 guarantee.

Tuesday through Thursday will feature satellites to the Main Event with buy-ins of $60 and $110.

Days 1A, 1B, and 1C of the Main Event will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday through Saturday respectively. The buy-in is $450, levels are 40 minutes, starting stacks are 20,000, and the guarantee is $150,000. Day 2 on Sunday will have 60 minute levels.

Players may register for multiple Day 1s. If a player qualifies for Day 2 more than once, only the largest qualifying stack will remain in play and that player will be awarded a minimum cash for the smaller stack. Players who register late or re-enter will receive a full starting stack.
