The 22nd Annual Gold Rush Poker Series is coming to Lucky Chances Casino in Colma Nov. 15 to 25. These three big events all feature multiple days and will have a total of $850,000 in guaranteed prize pools.
On Friday, Saturday and Sunday, Nov. 15 to 17 at 9:30 a.m., they will hold Days 1A, 1B and 1C of the first event. It has a guaranteed prize pool of $250,000, and first place is expected to be $50,000. The buy-in is $610 for 30-minute levels with 20,000 chips. For a $30 add-on players can start with an additional 5,000 chips.
Day 2 is the following Monday starting at noon.
Participation in the second event comes at a $355 buy-in. Day 1A and 1B are on Nov. 19 and 20 at 9:30 a.m. The prize pool guarantee is $100,000 with $20,000 expected for first.
Players will start with 15,000 chips (or an additional 5,000 for $25) and play 30-minute levels. The remaining players return for Day 2 on Thursday, Nov. 21.
Event 3 has a $500,000 guaranteed prize pool and they foresee $100,000 going to first place. It starts with Day 1A on Friday, Nov. 22, with Day 1B on Saturday and 1C on Sunday—all starting at 9:30 a.m. This $1,100 buy-in tournament has 40-minute levels and 25,000 starting chips, with an additional 5,000 available for a $25 add-on.
Survivors from the three Day 1s will be back for Day 2 at noon on Monday, Nov. 25 to play until conclusion.
Satellites to win a package good for all three Gold Rush events start Saturday, Nov. 9 and run through Thursday, Nov. 14 (all at 9:30 a.m.). For a $255 buy-in, players receive 10,000 chips (2,000 more for $10) and play 20-minute levels.
One in 10 players will receive the prize worth $2,065. It consists of an entry into all three events ($610 + $355 + $1,100). Seats are transferable.
