On May 8 Livermore Casino celebrated its 10th anniversary with a daylong party. Raffles were held hourly, with customers winning from $500 to $1,000. At noon there was a full lunch buffet, followed by another buffet in the evening for dinner.
Livermore Casino gave away over $15,000 cash and toasted in celebration with their loyal customers of 10 years.
The casino’s Insider Main Event was held June 23, where 40 finalists from the recent four-month qualifying series of tournaments battled it out to take home their share of over $15,000.
In the end, the last 14 players decided to chop, resulting in a larger number of winners (and happy tournament players). First and second place went to Carlos Aviles and Demsu Jemaneh.

Double points can be earned in all 11 a.m. Sunday tournaments, $120 buy-in bounty tournament (which are held as the last evening tournament of each month), and the monthly Deep Stack Tournament (the third Saturday of the month). The buy-in for the Deep Stack is $175 with a start time of 10 a.m. (sign-ups begin at 9 a.m.). It has 20-minute rounds, 15,000 in starting chips, and a $2,000 first place guarantee.
