Livermore Casino holds Race to Tahoe

Livermore Casino is awarding at least five seats into the WSOP Circuit Ring event that will be held at Harvey’s Resort and Casino in Lake Tahoe this November. Each winner in the Race to Tahoe Tournament will receive a $1,675 Main Event seat plus $500 cash for travel expenses along with a three-night stay in Tahoe.

Beginning June 1 and running through Sept. 30 playing in any of Livermore Casino’s daily poker tournaments will qualify players for points. (Super Saturday Tournaments do not qualify for points.) A points system will be kept to determine the Race to Tahoe qualifiers.

First place in any of their daily tournaments will receive 100 points, second 70 points, third 50 points, fourth 30 points, and fifth 10 points. Sunday mornings will play for double points.

The last day of the month in June, July, August and September, in the evenings they will have a Round-up Tournament with a $120 buy-in, $20 bounties, and a first place guarantee of $1,500. These events will also feature double points for the Race to Tahoe.

The top 10 point earners each month will receive a seat into the Race to Tahoe event at Livermore Casino in October. Each month begins a new qualifying period so everyone has a chance to win a seat.

Livermore Casino has two daily tournaments at 11:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m. with buy-ins ranging from $45 (with a $1,000 first place guarantee) to $100 (with a $1,200 first place guarantee), plus other added special events.
