Livermore Casino’s second in-house tournament series, Inside for the Summer, cemented what many of their loyal players already knew—in-house tournaments bring out the best in us.
Forty finalists faced off at the Main Event to win their share of the five-figure prize pool—over $19,000 for this series. The final five players chose to forgo individual payouts and instead chopped five ways, with each of them taking home just over $2,700. Sixth through 10th place cashed the remainder of the prize pool, so 10 big winners had a great day at Livermore Casino.
The qualifying period for the Inside for the Summer series was June 1 through Sept. 30. During that period the monthly top 10 point earners each received a seat into the Main Event which took place on Oct. 14.
Livermore Casino has 12 tournaments weekly, with buy-ins ranging from $45 to $120, all with $1,000 first place guarantees. Note that any special event tournament supersedes regularly scheduled weekly tournaments. Players earn double points in every 1:00 a.m. Sunday 1tournament, the $120 buy-in Bounty Tournament (which is the last evening tournament of the month), and the monthly Deep Stack Tournament (which is on the third Saturday of the month). Buy-in for the Deep Stack is $175 with a start time of 10:00 a.m. Sign-ups start at 9:00 a.m. It has 20-minute rounds, 15,000 in starting chips, and a $2,000 first place guarantee. October’s Deep Stack Tournament paid over $3,700 for first place.
Livermore Casino’s cash game promotions include three daily High Hand Bonuses, Royal Flush and Aces Cracked, along with Bad Beat Jackpots in Omaha and Hold’em. Live action games include $3/200 spread-limit Hold’em, $4/8 limit Hold’em, $6/12 Omaha Hi-Lo with a $10/20 kill, and Pan.
