Livermore Casino’s Summer Fest Events

On July 21 Livermore Casino’s Summer Fun Omaha Tournament brought players from all over the Bay Area. Forty Omaha players started the Tournament and five players finished in the money, with first place paying $1,800. Then on Aug. 1 Livermore Casino held a Hold’em Partners’ Tournament with the first place team winning $2,750.

Next up at Livermore Casino is their Deep Stack Hold’em Tournament on Saturday, Sept. 12 at 10:00 a.m. Players will receive 15,000 in starting chips with 20 minute rounds and a first place guarantee of $3,000. Buy-in is $230 and sign-ups begin at 9:00 a.m.

Double points will be given to the cash winners and will go toward the 2nd Annual Race to Tahoe qualifying event. Then, on Saturday, Oct. 3 at 10:00 a.m. Livermore Casino is having a Partners Tournament with limit Omaha Hi/Lo for partner #1 and no-limit Hold’em for partner #2. Buy-in is $300 ($150 per partner) and sign-ups begin at 9:00 a.m.

On Tuesday, Nov. 17 at 10:00 a.m. they will have an Omaha Hi/Lo (limit) tournament with a buy-in of $150 and sign-ups beginning at 9:00 a.m. (These Summer Fun changes will supersede any regularly scheduled weekly tournament.)

Livermore Casino’s 2nd Annual “Race to Tahoe” tournament series is currently underway with plenty of time to qualify. Harvey’s Resort and Casino in Lake Tahoe will be hosting the Official WSOP Circuit Ring Event in November 2015 and Livermore Casino will award several $1,675 seats into that Main Event plus cash for travel expenses to the winners in their Race to Tahoe tournament.

To qualify for a WSOP Circuit seat in Lake Tahoe just play in any of their daily poker tournaments June 1 through Sept. 30. A point system will be used and the top 10 point earners each month will receive a seat into the Race to Tahoe Playoff Tournament to be held at Livermore Casino on Saturday, Oct. 17 at 10:00 a.m. Each month begins a new qualifying period so everyone has a chance to win a seat. In addition, double points can be earned in their Sunday morning and evening tournaments and the 7:00 p.m. tournament on the last day of the month in September.

Livermore Casino has two regularly scheduled daily tournaments at 11:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m., with buy-ins ranging from $45 to $100 and a $1,000 first place guarantee, plus other added special events.
