New Bay 101 has grand opening

On Sept. 29 Bay 101 Casino will officially unveil their new location at 1788 N. First Street in San Jose with a grand opening. Less than a mile from their previous site on Bering Drive, the new facility will have a fresh new look with a classy, modern and distinctly Silicon Valley vibe.

Since 1994 Bay 101 Casino has been a premier locale for the very best gaming, food, and fun in Silicon Valley. It’s known for enchanting atmosphere, remarkable cuisine, and refreshing amenities, and the new Bay 101 will bring more and better of the same.

According to Kenneth Rodrigues of Kenneth Rodrigues & Partners Architect and Design Firm (the lead design architect on the project), “The building has a contemporary design theme for both the exterior and interior environment. The interior includes bright colors with glass and rich wood accents. Very unique lighting highlighting special areas of the casino has also been incorporated.”

The new Bay 101 is immediately adjacent to The Province, the latest new restaurant project from the Chris Yeo Group. According to Rodrigues, “The contemporary restaurant design includes large glass wall panels around a central bar along with a connecting exterior dining patio giving this space a true indoor-outdoor feel. The project has been conceived using ancient Feng Shui design principles offering Bay 101 and Province customers a project not usually found in the Bay Area.”

The Chris Yeo Group is a restaurant company that operates several award- winners in the Bay Area: Straits (Singaporean/Malaysian), Sino (modern Chinese), Roots & Rye (new American), and Straits Hawker Street (Asian street food).

This fall, the company will be launching its most exciting concept, The Province, alongside the grand opening of the new Bay 101. Guests will be delighted by The Province’s modern and chic design, fun Asian-inspired menu and impeccable service. The Province team will also operate the Corner Bar and Lounge, the Grab and Go Deli, and provide tableside dining for casino patrons.

With 49 high-action tables, Bay 101 Casino guests can enjoy Pai Gow Poker, No Bust 21st Century Blackjack, Three Card Poker, Pai Gow Tiles, EZ Baccarat, Texas Hold’em, Ultimate Texas Hold’em and Omaha.

This fabulous new San Jose hot spot will also offer customer deposit boxes, a full-service cashier cage, free Wi-Fi, cell phone charging stations, state-of-the-art security, ample parking and nearly 40 HD big-screen televisions. All of this, and more, at a most convenient location just off the 101 freeway, less than a mile from San Jose’s Mineta Airport.
