Nguyen takes Livermore Players Championship

Livermore Casino’s latest Players Championship tournament on June 9 lasted over six hours, and in the end the latest winner was Tony Nguyen. The series ran from February through May and included special tournaments for a Chinese New Year party in early February and the casino’s 11th anniversary party in mid-May.

The top 10 players each took home a share of the $12,500 prize pool. Not a bad day in Livermore! The next Players Championship series is already underway—now through September. Stay tuned for the announcement of the upcoming Main Event date and time, which will be scheduled for October 2019.
