From June 12 to 16, the Bay 101 Casino in San Jose will be hosting their Summer Madness Texas Hold’em Poker Tournament series.
Event #1 on June 12 is a $345 no-limit tournament, followed by a $345 “knockout” event on June 13 with $100 bounties on every player. Event #3 on June 14 is another $345 no-limit tournament, while Event #4 on June 15 is a $345 shootout (100 player max.). On Saturday, June 16 they will finish up with Event #5, a $550 no-limit tournament.
All Summer Madness events start at 9:30 a.m. and Events #2 and #5 have re-entries for the first three levels. Structure sheets are available at www.bay101.com and pre-registration for all events is open 24/7 at the main cage.
Bay 101 Casino is also running satellites into the 2012 World Series of Poker Main Event. Satellites will take place on Sundays from May 6 to June 17 at 9:30 a.m. Buy-in is $335 with 30-minute levels and 6,000 in chips. Winners will receive $10,000 seats into the WSOP Main Event in Las Vegas this July.
The 2012 Bay 101 Open dates have been set. This series will run from Aug. 20 to 27. Check www.bay101.com in the near future for the event schedule and structure sheets.
2012 WPT Marko Trapani Shooting Star on TV
The scheduled television air dates for the 2012 WPT Marko Trapani Bay 101 Shooting Star tournament have been released by the World Poker Tour. It will air on three consecutive Sundays—July 15, 22, and 29. These episodes will air locally on Comcast Sports Net Bay Area. Please check your local listings for the air times.
