It’s that time of the year again at the Tachi Palace Hotel and Casino in Lemoore—for the 11th consecutive year, Tachi is sending players to the richest sporting event on earth to compete for millions in prize money and a chance at poker immortality.
WSOP satellites will run the first Saturday of every month at 11:15 a.m., from November 2012 through May 2013, with a last chance event on May 18. They feature a $200 + $25 buy-in, a player friendly structure, 10,000 starting chips, and 30 minute rounds.
Satellite winners are guaranteed a $10,000 seat at the 2013 WSOP Main Event, $2,000 in travel money, plus a 22 percent portion of the remaining prize pool. Even if you don’t win your chance to become a poker champ, odds are you will play with one during these events. The 2007 WSOP champion is a regular participant in these events every year. The Tachi Palace affectionately refers to WSOP satellite winners as “Team Tachi.”
Seating is limited to 100 players and these events always sell out. Tachi strongly encourages players to register for these events in the poker room in advance of the tournament day. Go to www.tachipalace. com for complete details.
