The Cardroom is proud to announce that the paper you are now reading is our seven-year anniversary issue. A lot of water has gone under the bridge during that time.
After seven years of riding the rollercoaster our little poker paper is no longer so little. In fact, it’s up to an all-time high of 67,000 copies. Our biggest problem is that we still can’t print enough to satisfy all the demand.
With that in mind, we would like to announce the unveiling of our new digital edition of The Cardroom. Each issue, in its entirety, will be available for you to read on your computer or mobile device at www.thecardroom-norcal.com. We anticipate that our readers will enjoy this new easy, electronic access to the paper. It comes loaded with clickable ads that will take you directly to your favorite casino’s website so you can research their promotions, tournaments, and events in even more detail.
New issues of the online edition will be available on our website within a week after release of the hard copy edition.
Most importantly, the digital edition guarantees that we will never run out of papers again. This, along with our plans for an increased presence on social media, should go a long way towards building our readership to new heights in the very near future.
