Players Championship Series
The Thunder Valley Players Championship Series returns to The Poker Room from Sept. 17 to 28 with pre-series qualifying events beginning Sept. 15. The series will feature the $200,000 guaranteed no-limit Hold’em Deep Stack Tournament and the Heartland Poker Tour (HPT) Main Event, which will return to Thunder Valley Casino Resort for the third year in a row.
The series consists of 13 events including the $1,650 HPT Main Event from Sept. 24 to 28 that will allow one re-entry on each Day 1 flight. Tournament play includes no-limit Hold’em, Omaha 8 or Better, H.O.R.S.E. varieties, and Open Face Chinese Pineapple. The HPT Main Event will culminate with a nationally televised final table beginning at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, Sept. 28 at Thunder Valley’s Red Lantern restaurant.
Monday Night Football
Monday Night Football returns to Thunder Valley Casino Resort this fall and players can win their share of $5,000 during the weekly Monday Night Football games leading up to the Big Game Getaway Grand Prize Drawing. There will be three Big Game Getaway Drawings throughout the season and at each drawing one very lucky guest will win two tickets to the 2016 NFL Championship Game and $1,000 cash.

The weekly Monday Night Football cash prizes include up to $3,000 available in Rack Attacks and $2,000 available in drawings. Tables will be selected to win Rack Attacks of $100 throughout the game: 20 tables at kickoff and 10 tables at the end of the fourth quarter. For the Monday Night Football drawings, five guests will be selected to win $200 at halftime and two guests will be selected to win $500 at 10:00 p.m.
